What the sources establish

The launch announcement describes 1–8 player co-op. Older party-size descriptions differ; check the version notes before using a pre-launch guide.

The steps below are our suggested planning workflow.

01 Before entering: agree on three callouts

Try short, distinct messages: ‘returning’, ‘need help’, and ‘exit found’. Ask everyone to repeat the plan once. This is a suggested communication habit, not an in-game class system. Avoid assigning an elaborate job to a new player who is still learning the controls.

02 During collection: keep a return plan

When someone goes further away, decide how the team will regroup. A vague ‘over here’ gives a separated teammate little to work with. Name the visible landmark and say whether you are moving or waiting. Use the navigation tools available in the current build; do not assume a route from a video will match.

03 At the quota: change the conversation

Have one person read the current display aloud. Ask whether it is time to keep collecting or start leaving. Confirm who is still outside the group before everybody changes direction. A clear transition is more useful than several teammates making different assumptions.

04 After the run: fix one thing

Pick one moment of confusion to address next time: a missed callout, an uncertain return route, or an unread item tooltip. Record a concrete change in your team brief. Trying to fix everything at once makes it hard to tell which change helped.
